Toronto is a home to beautiful indoor and outdoor wedding locations. One of many such locations is the rustic Todmorden Mills. Todmorden Mills, built in 1700’s has a rich industrious history. This location is an ideal pick to incorporate rusty, artsy and vintage feel to the photographs. One of the good things about this location is that it is surrounded by stretches of green space. Todmorden Mills was decorated for the wedding ceremony. Groom along with help from his groomsmen had set up the altar beautifully, which added a personal touch. The morning started with the bride getting ready in a traditional Bengali outfit adorned with gold jewelry. The groom was dressed in safari labeled black suit paired with a red pocket square. Bridesmaids wore off-white sarees with colourful borders while groomsmen were suited up.
The ceremony began in a traditional Bengali manner, with the bride being carried in a palanquin. The bride had her eyes covered with a pair of betel leaves. The ceremony progressed with traditional rituals. It was a beautiful Bengali ceremony. On being pronounced husband and wife, family and friends congratulated the newlyweds.
After the ceremony, everyone reached the Old Mill, Toronto for dinner. They had elegant decor with burlap and floral arrangements. There were thank you notes for the guests and some colourful traditional bangles added by the bride as a takeaway. Dinner was served by one of the most talented Chef Harminder. Family and friends began dancing and enjoyed a Bollywood-inspired dance performance from the newlyweds. It was a beautiful intimate traditional ceremony.
