A Royal Affair – Regal Era
A photograph is painted with shadows and highlights and you don’t take photographs you make them.
Regal era concept was inspired by royal culture and heritage of Punjab. We wanted to create something rustic so we partnered with vendors who have the experience with very diverse outlooks. One of the biggest challenges was to control light falling on the subject, we wanted to create an image which would be mood setting and dramatic. It’s always difficult to create something dark than bright as a photographer, we were constantly working on narrowing light to create that drama in these images.
Royal Indian Weddings are known for their lavish attires and jewelry
The wardrobe was a very big element a Royal Indian Wedding. We desired to express the regal element at the same time keep it relevant to brides today. WellGroomed partnered with us on this concept for wardrobe along xpressions studios and jewelry for all the accessories and Hair/Makeup. Xclusive Designs used candles and lamps to complete the final look. We did create two different outlooks, first one is very traditional Regal Indian Wedding attire. The second royal look is more colorful which can be either worn on weddings or pre-wedding events.
Jaskaran and Rinya are two very talented published models who participated in this photo shoot and we consider ourselves grateful to have a phenomenal team. Special thanks to the SHAADI MAGAZINE who published these images in The Shaadi Magazine 5 coming out in March 2017.
Special thanks to all the publishers and partners for Regal Era
